More than just a controller

With the Micro+ system both gathering information from the store as well as store control is rendered easy. In addition to helping to maintain the quality of produce during the storage period it is an effective tool for gathering useful data.

One Micro controller can manage up to four separate store rooms. Should this be insufficient, Micro controllers can be linked together so that as many as ten storage rooms can be controlled from one point of use.

The data collected by the storage controllers may be saved to a local computer from which storage facilities can be also controlled. Data can also be directed straight to an internet server where information can be viewed by legitimate users regardless of time and place. For example, information can be accessed using a mobile phone. An internet connection also enables the storage controller to operate in ‘'weather station’' mode. The Micro+ controller can be used for prediction of potato late blight, for instance, based on local weather information.
